5 April 2012 - Newsletters with the latest information on Day Services Transformation are now available:
24 January 2012 - Work has started on the £1.9m revamp of Eastgate Day Services centre in Worksop. The programme of improvements will allow older people and people with learning disabilities to use the centre alongside the existing group of physically disabled users. The transformation includes multi-purpose lounges, a therapy/nursing room, an audio sensory room and improved chnaging and toilet facillities. The new look centre is due to open in the Autumn.
16 January 2012 - Work has started on an £800,000 improvement scheme at the Barncroft Day Services centre in Chilwell.
30 June 2011 – the Council has approved the report and recommendations for the day services transformation programme.
We will now be meeting with all existing users of day services to see what the best options are for them.
