Deaf / deafened / hard of hearing
We can loan you:
- pager system consisting of base and pager unit and / or
baby alarm, smoke alarm, doorbell
- minicom 6000
- alarm clocks
- TV equipment
- personal alarms
- loop systems
- fax
- telephone indicators
- screen phone.

Blind / visually impaired
Specialist equipment is free if there is a specific health and
safety issue. For example, we can supply liquid level indicators for safe pouring drinks and canes
of all types. Staff also give advice on appropriate equipment to buy to avoid you buying things unnecessarily.
The Royal National Institute for the Blind provide good advice on all aspects of equipment and technology.
