Social care for older people

There is a wide range of support available for older people from individuals and local organisations. For example:

• the Notts50+ website lists hundreds of organisations that support older people in Nottinghamshire. This includes lunch clubs and help with gardening, transport, shopping and jobs around the home.
  

• Community Outreach Advisors visit people at home to look at what support they need to help them stay independent

• First Contact puts you in touch with lots of different organisations by filling in one simple checklist.
