Funding

There are various sources of funding for making arts projects happen. Take some time to research the right funding for your project. Get to know what funders might be looking for in an application before you begin to write applications.  

On this page you will find an introduction to grant schemes you may be able to apply for, as well as more information on where to go to look for other sources of funding.

Nottinghamshire Arts Fund

Run by Nottinghamshire County Council, Nottinghamshire Arts Fund welcomes applications for projects that increase participation in the arts in the County (excludes NottinghamCity). You can apply at any time during year for between £500 and £2500. To find out more about the Nottinghamshire Arts Fund

Arts Council England , Grant for the arts

Arts Council England is the development body for the arts in England.  Grants for the arts are for activities carried out over a set period and which engage people in England in arts activities, and help artists and arts organisations in England carry out their work. Grants for the arts is funded by the National Lottery.
