Barista Coffee Bar
On February 29, Keith Walker, Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council opened the Barista coffee bar at Worksop Library.
Barista, is run by EVE Trades, a community interest company
(CIC) set-up by homelessness charity Framework. As well as selling drinks and snacks, the cafe provides training and employment
opportunities to potentially vulnerable local people. All profits are
ploughed back into the company and used to provide still more
opportunities where few have existed before.
