The final budget proposals for 2011/12 were approved by full Council at its meeting on 24 February.
The consultation on the proposals below closed on Friday 21 January. Some of the proposals were revised in light of the comments received as part of our budget consultation, details of which can be found via our budget consultation page.

Category A: proposals which could be moved forward immediately subject to consultation with employees and trade unions, but where external partners were affected they were informed of the change.
Category B: proposals which required more widespread discussion, with partners, stakeholders, employees and trade unions.
Category C: proposals which required formal statutory consultation.
