The activities and resources listed below are available free-of-charge, unless otherwise stated.

Your move

This is a giant floor game for pupils in Years 2, 3, 4 and 5 (a smaller, table-top version is available).

The pupils move their way around the board answering questions on road safety as they land on the relevant squares.

It aims to provide vital lessons about road safety to the pupils in an enjoyable way.

Child pedestrian training

An introduction to safe behaviour, practical training is given to parents/carers who accompany their Reception and Year 1 aged children on a local walk.

Using your school crossing patrol

A short visit by the school crossing patrol that serves your school. This demonstration session aims to ensure children know how to cross safely.

Walk to school weeks

Walking to school events occur in May and October. Schools are encouraged to take part. Further information is available at: www.walktoschool.org.uk/

'Road safety matters' booklet

These booklets help parents and guardians teach basic road safety skills to their 5-7 year old children and can be ordered online from the Think! shop at http://shop.dft.gov.uk
